New vacancies at the Dr Hadwen Trust
New positions are being created at the Dr Hadwen Trust that will help us pursue vital and exciting new initiatives, to advance our work to fund and promote research to replace animal experiments. These key roles are part of significant organisational development over the coming months.
The Dr Hadwen Trust is the UK’s leading medical research charity that funds and promotes exclusively non-animal research techniques to replace animal experiments. We believe that excellence in medical research can and should be pursued without animal experiments because they are morally unjustified and scientifically unsatisfactory. All employees must be committed to the aims and ethos of the charity.
The following vacancies are presently available: Supporter Records Officer, details of which are below.
The primary purpose of the Supporter Records Officer post is to:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on the members and supporters of the Dr Hadwen Trust, a central focus of which is the Dr Hadwen Trust’s computer database of such records.
Accurately bank cheques and card donations received from supporters, and maintain accurate records on standing order payments.
Receive and correctly identify and process incoming communications to the organisation, and to efficiently distribute such to colleagues.
Provide high-quality customer care to supporters and members of the organisation, including written communications.

Salary range: £16,000 to £19,000
Department: Fundraising Department
Reporting to: Fundraising & Marketing Director
Principle internal contacts: Fundraising & Marketing Director and the
Office Manager
Principle external contacts: Supporters and Members of the Dr Hadwen Trust
Hours: Full-time. Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.30am
Location: Dr Hadwen Trust’s offices in Hitchin, Hertfordshire (Travel: Hitchin is only 30 minutes direct from King’s Cross mainline station.)
