Science Communication Officer
Are you a life sciences graduate who is passionate about communicating science and would like to join a dedicated and supportive team committed to replacing the use of animals in biomedical research?
The role of Science Communication Officer at the Dr Hadwen Trust (DHT) is an immensely rewarding, creative and yet challenging opportunity to help promote the DHT, its research portfolio and funding streams, and raise awareness of animal replacement science in a wider context.
Using your creative communication skills and drawing upon a strong scientific knowledgebase you will deliver accurate and well-considered communications to promote the replacement of animal experiments in biomedical research and assist in fundraising strategies.
The successful candidate will be joining us at a particularly exciting phase of the DHT’s evolution and your engaging and informative communication style will be a key attribute.
We are looking for a positive, creative and solution-focussed individual, who will be a valued new team member joining us as we strive to reach our goals together.
This is a full time role offering a salary of £25,000 - £27,000 per annum depending on skills and experience
