Remember A Charity Week, 17-23 September

‘Remember A Charity Week’, now in its fourth year, will take place from 17 - 23 September.

During the week more than 140 charities will be taking part in events across the UK to urge people to think about including a good cause in their Will, once they have looked after family and friends. Almost 3,000 charity shops will also be promoting the week, which will be marked by local community events such as raffles, tea mornings and cake bakes.

The week also sees the launch of the first scheme to nationally recognise the contribution of people who leave gifts to charity in their Wills. A series of yellow plaques will be unveiled across the UK at charitable projects and initiatives which have been made possible thanks to donations left by supporters in their Wills.
