Showcasing replacements - humane science at its best
The Dr Hadwen Trust for Humane Research, the UK’s leading non-animal medical research charity, is opening the doors on its Science Room, an exciting new internet source of information which demonstrates how vibrant the world of non-animal research is.
The Science Room website is part of a major new programme which both highlights the work of the Dr Hadwen Trust for those in the biomedical community keen to know more about this area of advanced science, and stimulates thinking to address biomedical issues from new perspectives.
These pages comprise sections on: new developments across the world of alternatives – regularly updated; highlights of the Dr Hadwen Trust’s funding; the highly successful Science Review available in a downloadable format; views of leading scientists on the value of non-animal methods of research and lastly, but certainly not least, the portfolio of research which the generosity of our supporters maintains.
Science Room clearly demonstrates to an even wider audience, how cutting edge science can make a real difference to both our health and the lives of animals.
