Assessment procedure
Preliminary Applications will be evaluated by The Dr Hadwen Trust Assessment Panel.
Full Applications will be assessed by The Dr Hadwen Trust Assessment Panel and 3 independent external referees.
The following criteria will be given particular weighting when making the funding decisions:
- Potential impact on the REPLACEMENT of animals in medical research or testing
- Quality of the science
- Current or future importance of the techniques to medical research
- Dissemination strategy for promoting the research to the wider scientific community
