United by compassion for animals

Universal Kinship FundThe Universal Kinship Fund (UKF) was launched on 10 September 2006 at the Third World Congress of Faiths Interfaith Celebration of Animals held at Golders Green Unitarian Church in North London. It provides a focal point for people of all faiths – Buddhist, Hindu, Jain, Sikh, Jewish, Muslim, Christian, Unitarian Universalist, Quaker, Humanist and others – to raise funds for vital medical research that replaces animal experiments. The Universal Kinship Fund is administered by the Dr Hadwen Trust with donations held in a dedicated UKF account.

All the great religions of the world proclaim the inherent worth and dignity of all life. Jains, Buddhists, revered teachers of non-violence like Mahatma Gandhi and other enlightened prophets and sages of many diverse spiritual traditions, East and West, strongly hold this inner conviction of reverence for life which sets us a truly noble example to follow.

The Dr Hadwen Trust’s funded research promotes the compassionate ideal of saving life without taking life. If you would like to make a donation through the Universal Kinship Fund towards the Dr Hadwen Trust’s vital work for animals and people, click on the Donate link in the right hand column and put Universal Kinship Fund in the Special Instructions box. Alternatively, send a cheque made payable to the Dr Hadwen Trust for Humane Research and address to the Universal Kinship Fund c/o the Dr Hadwen Trust, 84A Tilehouse Street, Hitchin, Herts SG5 2DY. We are very grateful for your kind support.
