Fundraising ideas
Here are just a few FUNdraising ideas to get you going:

- Have a non-uniform day at school – pick a colour or theme and collect money from all those who take part (don’t forget to ask for permission first!)
- Organise a Rollerdisco – for those of you who fancy a bit of retro fun.
- Try a bring and buy sale – everyone can bring something to sell and all proceeds from the sale go to the DHT.
- Nothing raises money faster than a cookie or cake bake sale – get your mums and grannies involved.
- Volunteer to do chores for your family and friends – washing the car, walking the dog etc., but ask them to make a donation if you’ve done a good job!
- Interested in cooking? Why not invite friends and family to a charity dinner and charge a booking fee?
- Are you musical? Why not organise a concert in the park and charge admission or have friends go around with buckets asking for donations?
- Enter (or organise) a sponsored walk, run, skateboard or swim – whatever you enjoy doing and invite family and friends to sponsor you.
- Host a games night and charge for an evening of competitive fun.
- Invite friends over for a sleepover (check it first with Mum) and raise money by charging for pizzas or crisps.
- Plan an evening of karaoke and charge a fee for everyone who sings.
- Put on a show, concert or disco/dance and charge admission.
- Get sporty by organising 5 a-side footie, a tennis tournament or cricket in the park.
- Organise a treasure hunt – get friends and family to donate fun items, then charge a fee for anyone to join in!
- Re-cycle your mobile phones and printer cartridges.
- Start a fundraising group and let everyone know what you are doing through Facebook, Bebo, Twitter or other social networks.
